La Sal - Mataró

Founded in 1993, Lasal is placed in la Platja de Sant Simó in Mataró (40 kilometers from Barcelona), where it takes more than a decade reinventing the traditional concept of Xiringuito.

Its formula of combining day time and night time that has practiced form its beginnings, has been finally taken by most of the xiringuitos (bars on the beach) from the coast.

At daytime, the first coffee, the vermouth, a sandwich and/or a day-salad, a beer or a refresh in the evening, wile the sun is setting with the sea as a witness... And at night... An open program and really selected, that summer after summer brings us DJ's and sound systems every night at the beach with free access.

Nights beside the sea are always different, with a changing decoration depending on its environment, with natural elements based in wood, bamboo or carpets.

In Lasal you can enjoy, laying in the sand or twisting in the little wood dace flour beside the counter, the best local DJs (Kosmos, DJ2D2, Zero, CrackeR, Joan Barbena and Search are their residents) and a really selected programming of international artists, where this summer has already Yam Who?, Seiji or Brett Johnson.

Lasal, as the umbrella, the towel or the sandals, it's another basic element form that lovely routine called summer. And if anybody wants to take Lasal to home, its compilation is fullfiled with black grooves warmer than al the singles that Beyoncé is able to realise until her body allows.
