My son, Andrew Howard, a 35 year old accomplished singer/songwriter from Austin, TX and new resident of Barcelona, (Catalon), is performing at The Quiet Man. Andrew visited this pub and was hired on the spot. I am so sad because I am still in Texas and will not be able to attend Andrew's gigs at The Quiet Man. I am especially happy for Andrew because he said the staff are friendly, the place is really cool, and it reminds him of one of his best venues where there was standing room only in Austin, Texas. Contact The Quiet Man for the dates and times as to Andrew's gigs. You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you, Quiet Man, for hiring Andrew. He's gonna knock your socks off. Everyone in Texas misses him so much, actually, we miss his gigs! Looking forward to visiting The Quiet Man during my visit to Barcelona. I have posted this event on face book so all of Andrew's friends and fans will learn about The Quiet Man. I know Andrew's going to put on a great show!

I can honestly say this is my favourite pub in the world!

Ok the drinks wernt the cheapest but the bar staff are so friendly and accomadating they sumtimes slip u the odd freebie...(and that wasnt in reference to the bar maids).

I love it there and big up to my homies behind the bar!

This is a great pub, I try to visit it every time I am in Barcelona. Nice genuine Irish atmosphere, and local Irish people are guests and staff.

Prices are a bit higher than you should expect on this side of the Ramblas, but compared to the Ramblas itselfe, it is acceptable.

The toilets are in need of refurbishment.

Discovered this place whilst 'rambling' around Barce, down a side street off the Ramblas, heading towards sin city....

Sadly the barmaids were not as previously described by Steve of London. I found the drinks to be the same price as other ramblas pubs, Guinness was 5Euro and Murphys Red 4.40. No food available other than crisps, however the bar staff were able to write me a receipt to satisfy my expense claim.

Atmosphere is refined and relaxed until we get there then it goes down hill a bit.

tHE DRINKS HERE IS SO EXPENSIVE THEN ALL THE OTHER PUBS IN BARCELONA THE BAR MAIDS ARE SLUTS AND WANT MONEY ALL THE TIME.
