Is Salamanca is the same as barca de salamanca, then i dissagree. They are chain and got several restaurants in bcn. Living in bcn for quite a few years now, i have had a chance to eat many tims in salamanca in port olimpic and also one of two in barceloneta. Nobody was stinky; food was always somewhat delicious. I like their daily menu and also the anticrisis menu. Forthe price of less than 20 eur p/p what u get is great. Plus ive spotted there a catalan or two as well (especially during daily menu).

Our meal at this charming restaurant was marked by exquisite dishes, including chuletón as a main course and innovative starters such as wild boar mortadella. The attentive service and unique desserts, although limited in choice, completed a memorable culinary experience.

Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant à plusieurs reprises, Mars 2011, aout 2011 et juillet 2012.
Jamais déçu par le personnel, ni par la paella, ni par la charcuterie.
Le prix est un peu cher mais comme dans de nombreux endroits.
Racollage oui mais comme dans tous les restaurants !! La vue est magnifique, chauffage extérieur pour le mois de mars car il faisait un peu frais malgré le soleil.
Nous avons testé l'autre restaurant du patron sur le port et je préfère celui là.
Bref je recommande ce restaurant sans soucis.

You have to be kidding me to put this on the dont go to page. I live in BCN and it is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in and I think it is a MUST when here. The only thing I recommend is a table outside...this has always been a place to go with friends and spend a lazy afternoon enjoying the food and wine.

Watch out for this place. Taxidrivers and others recomend it, but stay out if you don`t want expensive and untasty food. You get the feeling that you are in a hurry, and the staff wants you to eat and finnish asap. The service in general i poor.

avons tres bien mange hier soir bon cest sur on est reste sur une paella. le serveur etait sympa et parlait francais. le prix un peu eleve mais digestif offert. bonne ambiance

ragazzi non credete a sto sito....questo ristorante è un'istituzione a barcelona si mangia benissimo sia carne che pesce e con 13 euro a testa mangiate una paella strabuona...credetemi merita...con 70 euro mangiate bevete una boccia di vino dolce e caffè ho lasciato 10 euro di mancia...sono nel settore e me ne intendo...andateci MERITA!

I had a great evening in this restaurant.
It was full and huge but with an irreprochable service (quick and nice service despite the restaurant full)
And the food was the best I ate in barcelona, absolutely delicious!

Our bill was 191,74 Euros ($258.00). Our waiter (from South America) held up a plate of seafood when we sat down and claimed I ordered it as an appetizer. The cost was 109euros ($146.00). When we realized what had happened (less than 5 minutes), they said it was too late. They take advatage of tourists. Avoid this place.

Sono stato a barcelona x capodanno con la mia ragazza e la sera prima di tornare a casa abbiamo mangiato in questo locale disgustoso..appena seduti il cameriere ci ha consigliati una bella frittura,la prendiamo..i totani erano "finti" e di "plastica" e le acciughe immangiabili..x farla breve:FRITTURA,UN PIATTO DI PATANEGRA,UNA BOTTIGLIA D ACQUA E DUE BIRRE:50 EURO..LADRI E CIBO DISGUSTOSO..NON ANDATECI..

Siamo appena tornati da Barcellona dove in questo ristorante siamo stati spennati come dei polli, devo ammetterlo.
Appena seduti il cameriere ha incominciato a consigliarci una bella frittura di pesce e noi "si si si". Tra le varie cose ha inserito anche dell'astice. Per farla breve : Euro 400 di conto in quattro. Roba da matti. EVITATE

I went there once with my sister and niece and we all had a great evening, with excellent food, good wine and its quite interesting inside, the room we were in has hundred's of pictures on the walls.
