This studio apartment is a great location to choose for your visit to Barcelona; it is in a very quiet street and offers a quieter reprieve to the hustle and bustle of the Ciutat Vella. Still conveniently located not far from Paseo de Gracia and some of the great shopping streets to be found in this great city, the location of this apartment is great for your visit to Barcelona.

The Calypso II apartment is situated in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district, the birthplace of the Modernism movement where Antoni Gaudí is considered the leader. When looking to experience Barcelona's world renowned reputation for leading 19th century architecture, this area is king. There are many "must see" attractions in this area, especially the Gaudí sites - the impressive and famous Sagrada Familia, the two famous Gaudí houses La Pedrera and Casa Batlló in the Manzana de la Discordia and the sprawling Hospital de la Santa Creu in Sant Pau - all within walking distance.
The apartment:
The apartment has been completely refurbished in a stylish and modern fashion. The access to the apartment is by a spiral staircase which takes you into the open plan kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is fully equiped with all the mod cons you would expect to find in a modern kitchen, including microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc... There is a comfortable sofa in the living area which converts into a double bed for the third and fourth guests, there is also a TV in this area. At the far end of the apartment, separated by wardrobe space, you will find a comfortable double bed and the modern bathroom equipped with toilet, washbasin and shower.
For larger groups, this apartment can be combined with the Calypso I in the same building. Please note that the apartment is internal and doesn't have much natural light.
